Catch Of The Day

Say it ain’t so…

HOOK:

“Roddy.”

The Falcons cut ties with their all time leading receiver.  Because they are classy and want to give him all the time in the world to find another gig, they released him…by text message.  Come on.  He is out of the country and thinking his first order of business is not to stop doing whatever fun thing he is doing to start trolling for a new job.  You should have waited until he got back, or used this amazing technology we have these days to get him live.

LINE:

“Beasley.”

I am very surprised that the comeback to the NBA for Michael Beasley occurred in Dallas and not Denver.  Would have made more sense with laws and backgrounds and such.  What I am EXCITED about is Houston.  I was worried about their non winning/ misfit nature when they released Ty Lawson.  Thanks to above that they successfully landed another off the court problem waiting to happen.  When he was in China getting league MVP, maybe he found a way to chill out.  My bet is he is PRIMED to make another legal run.

SINKER:

“OKC.”

Sure, an indictment is never a good thing, but here’s hoping the part owner, Aubrey McClendon, of the Thunder didn’t purposely drive into that wall because of that and end his life.

THE RIVER:

-Peyton, whether it is true you want to play again or still thinking about it, don’t do it.  Ride off into the sunset.

-Maybe there is a small faction of people who want Jimmer back in the NBA, but do we really think he will succeed?  Probably not.  Even the Knicks didn’t give him another 10 day contract.

-You might say that UVA barely won last night against a very bubble team Clemson, but a road win in the ACC is a road win the ACC.

-Let me get this straight.  Yoenis Cespedes went to a fair, bought a hog for $7000, tried to take it home, and now has to have it slaughtered because it is against state law?  Give the 4H club back their hog ON THE HOUSE, bro.  That $7k means nothing to you.  Or, I guess have a GREAT time with PETA.

-Erin Andrews might take down a chunk of Marriott by the time this whole thing is done.

-No, my Jeep hasn’t left the garage in over a week.

-No, no 4Runner has popped into my lap yet.

-Yes, The Voice has started and I will try not and talk about it.

-Yes, I go to Crested Butte tomorrow night, and the town is just too damn beautiful and cool to blog every day through the weekend.

I have to go.  Have to start researching out of country residences when we get our new President, whichever one it is.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
