One day late for National Top Gun Day as I didn’t blog yesterday. Still quote the movie at least twice a day. Break now, Jester.

Just my quick Saturday thoughts before I get going…busy day. Speed version.

1.  I loved the Dragic pickup LONG ago, he had 30 last night for a depleted Heat squad, Joe Johnson contributed one more point than his postseason average of 12, and now we get to see if the Raptors are as bad at home closers as they are at home openers.
2. Still can’t believe the Preds got smoked like they did in Game 7.
3. We have compromise shows and shows that only she likes, but I find myself chuckling or looking up occasionally during New Girl-solid show.  Dudes.  Get your girl loving this show, pretend you don’t like it because it is a girl show, and then enjoy in secret.
4. As I get over the Spurs being ousted in 6, I have broken down the OKC roster.  Not sure, but starting to believe that OKC can beat the Warriors.
5. Maybe.  Kind of.  Not sure.  Maybe just optimistic…
6. Have GOT on in the background getting ready for tomorrow…and there is nothing on TV yet as it is early on a Saturday.
7. Someone tell Greg Hardy we don’t care about his therapy.
8. Someone tell someone that we are fine with Reyes being suspended for longer than the end of MAY??
9. Someone tell the Rangers I am secretly following their prison inmate callup.
10. Some tell every media person in the world that we DO care about what the aging core of the Spurs do, BUT NOT YET.
11. Gladiator.  NOT YET.
12. You will see her again, but not yet.
13. We will know if Duncan retires, but not yet.  
14. Wait until after the playoffs.
15. Totally down for a Mexico/ US combo World Cup bid for 2026 and I presently don’t have any plans, but not sure when we all became boys to co-host.  Like it.
16. Hey, new OC of the Bears, you have “mutual respect” with Jay Cutler because the official games haven’t started.
17. Poker, I hosted.  How did it go?  Fine.  I was either 1,2, or 3 in chips the entire time and chip leader at one point.  How did it end?  The same way it ends for many people who remember exactly how it ended their night.  Went all in on rockets.  Got taken down by a nut straight jack high.  PAINFUL.  That person who beat me ended up winning.
18. But, since Lindsey went to a strip club on girls night, we went to our own after.
19. I feel like I live each day now wondering how much longer it will be until I move to Belize.
20. Rudy, no prizes.  If Ralph texts me a picture of the Stanley Hotel by 5pm tonight, I will buy HIM a #4 at Torchy’s.
21. Even if Rudy tells Ralph, he still won’t text me anything.  But gotta love the guy.  He turns his phone on Do Not Disturb.  I didn’t even know you could do that until I met Ralph.

23. I think I was over the Jerry Jones-Raiders-Vegas story LONG before it even happened.
24. In case you Rockies fans are dulling your own pain, that “Hammel” guy that is 5-0 from the Cubs is THAT Jason Hammel.
25. I think the weather has intervened on the Players just to stop Jason Day’s unfair pace.
26. Yesterday was National Top Gun Day, meaning although I wanted to put my theme as not yet from Gladiator, everything is overridden by Top Gun.  Everything.
