Now You See Me…
Just some quick thoughts before the weekend…more to come.
- Jon Jones has robbed fans and Daniel Cormier. All he wants to do is avenge his loss to the guy, and Jones keeps jacking up those plans. We ALL want to see the rematch. The SPORT wants to see the rematch. I think it is great that we get the aged Silva as an unprepared replacement, but not great enough to feel a little spite for Jones and his wrongdoings.
- Amanda WHO is in the main event?
- I am 43 and sitting around writing this dribble, and Bartolo Colon is heading to the ASG. Goals, young people. GOALS.
- If you also want to feel like you haven’t accomplished anything today, try reading through some of the Olympic stories of people changing their lives to represent our country. Maybe I should take a jog. Yeah.
- Nope. Not today. I hate running.
- Hearing the story about Dallas is a nightmare, but listening to some of the audio and watching the videos is petrifying. The fact that the police who were being targeted were still saving civilians is incredible.
- Larry Brown retiring now with the program in this situation is just wrong. Can you see ONE job through, Larry? Especially when there are KIDS pledging themselves and it isn’t just pros being paid to play? Yes, you have the hardware, both college and pro. But, I think you are robbing those kids on the team right now. Now, onto his 16th paycheck location to put on probation.
- We are getting to exciting time for the Von Miller project. I expect resolution will come VERY late in the game.
- Matt Harvey has decided to have season ending surgery. This is the right move. His deceiving stats indicate he is hurting, he is still only 27, and bring it back next year, bro.
- I said I think Federer could WIN his last match, but I didn’t specify that he sure as hell didn’t need ANOTHER five setter. Do you like the road to the Finals, Andy Murray? Cue Bill Pullman. Plow the road, even though I still don’t know how exactly a road is plowed. Paved maybe? Plow? Hmmm. These are the mysteries that occupy my mind.
- Like in the song Photograph by Def Leppard. Does he want the photograph or NOT? Very misleading lyrics if you ask me.
- Isn’t a photograph better than NOTHING, Joe?
- We are at the point when 1956 Heisman Trophy winner is suing a helmet company for concussions. Maybe there is a point when TECHNOLOGY and ERA have to be considered? Just ballparking, folks.
- I am going to see that movie with Lindsey and friends about those two dudes needing wedding dates. Hoping it is pleasantly surprising, as this would be a rental for me typically with all of the flicks out. I don’t even know their freaking names.
- I wanted to see Now You See Me, but apparently their amazing magic even helps them from disappearing from movie theaters. They might be in SOME theaters, but not The Pavilions.
- Why are ALL hotel business center keyboards the old school keyboards with the big 1984 buttons?
- Ugghhh. Allen Crabbe just got paid big. Seriously. Google his stats. Think about his ceiling. Things are just…(head shaking)…out of HAND.
