He definitely IS a man with THAT hairdo…

I have been told I have 28 minutes before going to dinner.  Let’s have a speed blog and wrap this up in 20 minutes.

1. Kershaw was shut down today due to back pain.  I don’t know about you, but I will forever wonder how his season would have gone staying healthy.  It might have been legendary.  Now, the Dodgers have to figure out how to beat that delta of winning when he plays and when he doesn’t.  Good luck.
2. We all knew the ex-WWE wrestlers would someday unite and sue someone, but personally I think the whole “no helmet or pads” thing will hurt them in their cause.  They were fighting in swim trunks basically.
3. Ichiro is one year younger than me, I am writing this blog for the public, and he is hitting .345 in the best league on earth.  Goals, people.
4. Manziel apologized, so let’s start a pool where he will show up holding a beer next.  I have Cabo or some random place like Cedar Rapids.
5. Mr. Cousins, we are ALL confused by the Kings’ draft, but we thank you for using your public medium to say what we think.
6. Mr. Woods, I think we all just assumed you wouldn’t play the PGA Championship, but please tell us how “you feel great and your swing feels good…and that you are coming along nicely.”
7. Bryce Harper is my boy, but #85 on the all time MLB players????  I think with his body of work he might be #485 tops.  Resume, people.  Wait on it.
8. So glad Roger Clemens is fielding a “super team” for the upcoming baseball tournament.  I am joking about being glad, and not about him fielding a super team unfortunately.
9. Mike Gundy’s new hairdo is incredible.  Incredible.  Google “Mike Gundy mullet.”  Never mind.  I will just use as theme.
10. I was raised to conserve energy, but here to tell you I turn on fans, lights, heat, and A/C at a non green pace that would disturb people.  I will foot the extra energy bill.  Comfort is what I want.  I will tough it out when happily camping.
11. The NBA Summer League championship was exciting as heck.  Tyus Jones showed why he was MVP of the league, and Denzel Valentine showed why he is simply a MONEY player when the chips are in.
12. Mr. Green, “being me has gotten me this far” is great but let’s remember that the same applies to guys like Johnny Manziel and being who HE is.
13. Can I list as a hobby reading power rankings, mock drafts, and preseason rankings?  Can I list them as three SEPARATE hobbies?
14. The White Sox have three triple plays thus far this year.  That is the most in a full season since the 1979 A’s and Red Sox.
15. I am mad we messed up and missed taping Vice Principals.  Kenny Powers Take II.
