What a farewell on one of the most exciting events in track and field.  Usain Bolt won the final of the 100m last night and made it look EASY.  He gave a big smile in the semi’s, crushed everyone in the last 40m of the final, and I really only have one comment about Mr. Bolt.  When I watch him run, it is so effortless that I think he could go FASTER.  Big complaint-lol.  Winning the fastest event three Olympics in a row is AMAZING.  Can’t wait for the 200m, where the margin of victory will be larger.

LINE:

“USC.”

I look at 3-4 college schedules a day, and MAN the schedule that USC has is pretty steep.

SINKER:

“Biles.”

You know you are having a good Olympics when the “sinker” of the day is Simone Biles “only” getting a bronze in the balance beam…and getting beat by her teammate for the silver medal.

-Stopped caring about three sentences in, so nothing to say about Ms. Douglas.

THE RIVER:

-That windy feeling you felt midday today was the entire Boston area taking a deep breath in regards to the Gronk injury.

-Yes, it was insensitive what the Cubs DJ played after Chapman left the mound.  I think I would be way too clever for myself if I had that job and get fired also.
