Catch of the Day.

Quick one this afternoon.  I wrote plenty this weekend.

  1.  The Steelers are a team no one wants to play right now.  If their defense just becomes OK, they will be a force in the playoffs and before.  On offense, they are pretty much unstoppable.  I wish the fans would stop confusing Jesse James with Heath (especially when Heath is not even playing), I did not know that Timmons is the only defensive player in NFL to play EVERY snap this year, and Peter King summarized the Steelers this morning pretty well and looking forward to the Broncos in a couple weeks.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      steelers-Capture
  2. You should read #peterking EVERY Monday unless you hate football.  Here is another tidbit from his #mmqb this morning.  king-Capture
  3. I came back in one of my fantasy leagues Sunday as Brees and Amendola started doing things at the exact same time.  Still in first.
  4. I forgot to mention in my college breakdown this weekend that Tennessee fans have had reason to be quiet for a long time.  That is probably the best 8-4 team in a LONG time, and those kids are all back next year.  Scary, and probably top 5 preseason.
  5. Another day in our lives, and the Warriors keep on trucking.  Live by the outside, have a 6’6″ inside defensive presence, and continue to break all the NBA rules of winning.  Stellar.
  6. Vandy-Baylor hoops had 33 scouts to most likely watch Jones and Gathers last night.  Baylor won in the end, and Taurean Prince sure picked a good audience to score 30 points in front of.
  7. Too early for me to jump on either side, but Sarkisian’s suit for wrongful termination against USC seems dumb to me, although that dumbness in this day and age of gentleness might earn him $30 million…so I guess why not.  Disability my a$%.
  8. About TIME the Reds traded their stud, Aroldis Chapman.  The flame thrower is now on the Dodgers and will be in games that we care about with winning teams.  The kid is exciting to watch in case you have lived in a bubble for the last couple of years.  100 MPH plus.
  9. In a game where I will admit to probably putting ornaments on my tree rather than watching end to end, give me the Skins 24-20 over the Cowboys tonight.
  10. That’s it.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
