The only thing better than mac and cheese…
Thoughts for the day…no blog template until after Thanksgiving when the subscribers are back with the group automatically…
- Louisville-Houston cleared up a few things. The CFP had one obstacle averted. Louisville is no longer in the CFP hunt. The ACC is an upset of Clemson away from being totally shut out of the CFP. Houston is still good, and suddenly anyone who got beat by them looks more respectable. OU went from about a 5% chance at the CFP to about 15%. The Heisman race is still relatively clear, but if someone steps up their game at ALL, then the debacle last night will be a little more of an asterisk. I was about 3 minutes late to taking Houston plus the 17 points.
- More important than the game last night was that I actually heard a ref with a NORTHERN accent. Not neutral, not southern, but NORTHERN. Might have been NYC or Boston. I heard him say 40 YAHD line. Yeah. No “r.” That would probably be Boston.
- Intern Doug is gone, people. I don’t have time to edit again today. Sorry for any grammatical errors.
- DraftKings and FanDuel merged…because they pretty much HAD to for survival. I just use the site for golf Majors, so it doesn’t effect the Fillerbuster much at all.
- New Orleans makes a LIVING off of losing close, I swear. Fought all the way back and blew it once again.
- Nice shoes, Cam.
- If asked to side with hot head Steve Smith or cheater Cam Newton on them butting heads, I am taking the side of Smith going AWAY.
- Another day, and another stat line from James Harden that is sick.
- I noticed an ESPN article about whether Odell Beckham was the best of all time. Is this a joke? I didn’t open the article. Someone got PAID to write an article on that?
- Listen, I am not saying he might not be by the end of his career, but I have in my head a couple guys who might have a mild beef with that statement.
- OU-WVA will be a very interesting game tomorrow. Winner gets that 15% chance at a CFP if everyone tumbles.
- Mike Trout is the best player in baseball, and after winning the MVP without making the playoffs, you just kind of sit back, and realize technically he probably SHOULD win it every single year.
- I am still laughing at Kate Upton’s tweet.
- I actually agree with Mr. Flacco as opposed to Ray Lewis. When things are going great like winning Super Bowls, he is a leader by example. When things are not, he is soft and not passionate. Shame.
- I really hope Luke K. is ok. Man, he was not home when leaving the field last night.
- Oh, the theme? The only thing better than mac and cheese… is FREE mac and cheese. Rob and Dave made a World Series bet and included me because A) I sit next to them B) I eat a LOT and C) I like sports. That was like my favorite bet ever because I couldn’t lose. Thanks, guys.
