Catch Of The Day

Sixth straight AFC Championship Game??? Ugghhh…don’t care.

Thoughts for the day…another day closer to Sunday.

  1. Virginia-BC not on the tube, but still don’t feel like a long cast tonight.  Let’s move.
  2. One thing from ESPN on each to save you reading time.
  3. Tim Raines made it on his LAST HOF ballot.  You could make the case against him, but then we could all point to about 7 guys in the HOF who were worse…so glad they got him in.  84.7% steal percentage, which is sick.
  4. Bench.  Only other catcher to get in on his first ballot besides Rodriguez.
  5. Bagwell scored 152 times in 2000.  Gehrig only guy to get more in a season.
  6. SOOOOO close, Trevor.  You will get in no problem.
  7. Bonds and Clemens both are above 50% now, meaning they will climb the mountain to 75% too.  Time heals all wounds.
  8. Except for you, Manny.  Bonds and Clemens were HOF’ers BEFORE they started cheating.
  9. Hey, James Harrison, do NOT say whether you slipped or not on that holding call, as our ref will be doing the Super Bowl too.
  10. Billups had an interesting point today.  Rajon Rondo wants to be a coach someday.  I was about to write that concept off, but Billups made a good point.  It takes a guy like that TO understand a guy like that.
  11. This made me laugh today.
  12. Can we talk about who was invited to the Giants boat party AFTER the playoffs now?  There are non partying teams still playing.
  13. LOVE that Brown came fully clean today on the video.  Good stuff.  Would have been funnier if he would have said those a-holes are ANOTHER day and a half ahead because of the damn video.
  14. Melo is numb to the drama with Phil, and now we have something in common.  I have been numb to ALL Melo news for years.
  15. I am sure O’Brien calling the offensive plays the WHOLE year will fix everything for the Texans.  Yup.  That is the problem.
  16. So, Nick Kyrgios plays in the ONLY Grand Slam where people are actually rooting FOR him and he blows a two set lead in the early rounds?  That is just weird.  Now, he has to endure three polite events, meaning he is done for the year for Grand Slams.
  17. Thunders-Warriors later tonight, but I might call my NBA night after watching a little of the Greek Freak.  I guess it depends on whether Hubie does the late game.
  18. Sucks that Venus had to withdraw from doubles play, but here’s hoping her elbow can heal a little before the next round.  A tourney is ALWAYS better when Venus is still in it.
  19. Wisconsin bball is just a boring, quiet, consistent, non flashy 15-3 team that no one wants in March.  Singing from the same song sheet once again…
  20. Not sure what Nate Diaz’s intentions are for getting a boxing license, but it sure sounds like fun.
  21. I am not the dumbest guy nor the smartest guy, but I HATE iTunes and libraries, and playlists, and not being able somehow to download recently  purchased tunes.  HATE the interface.
  22. I assume Google has music.  Can I move over all of my iTunes songs?  There HAS to be a loophole.
  23. I just want the killer 15 songs I selected last night for workout songs to be on my iPod.
  24. (my wife listened to one and asked “are you angry at me?”-just like angry workout music, babe)
  25. Kentucky bball youngsters sure picked a good situation last night to lose focus…NOT a loss, but enough to LEARN from it.
  26. The 49ers will get Shanahan as HC.  Seems to me like some other family member had an OK HC start up in the Bay Area.
  27. I don’t think ANY of us can get enough of Texas-Baylor-Casey Horny jokes.  Keep them coming.
  28. Oh shit.  Forgot that Brogdon plays for the Bucks too.  BONUS NBA time.
  29. Finally, this dog’s draft grade went down today on his measureables.  http://deadspin.com/dog-sucks-1791349386
  30. Sorry, Greg.  Not a lot of PATS, STEELERS, BRADY, or SKINDRED comments tonight.
  31. Let’s end this now before things get like the Siena-Rider game and get out of here with some invisible handshakes.  That’s it for today.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
