Read it, don’t read it, I don’t care…just needed to get some things off my chest.

In no particular order of chronology or importance…

On the clock.  No, it is not an airplane cast.  Friday evening blog.  Semi-speed version.  Let’s turn and burn.

DISCLAIMER:  This blog is sarcastic and is intended as harmless fun only.  This is not a blog for sensitive readers.  Know that any seemingly derogatory or abrasive statements are NOT MEANT AT ANY LEVEL OF SERIOUSNESS.  Read on ONLY after accepting the above statements.

HOOK:

First, notice the disclaimer.  We had a minor sensitive “incident.”  Everyone take a deep breath.  Shake it out.  I warned everyone this can be abrasive.  Go read a blog about kittens or flowers or butterflies.  This is Bill Simmons merged with Jim Rome with a touch of Seinfeld.  None of those people care about anything.  And me.  Moving on.

(more detail to come-I have to get to the CU-CSU game and am rushed)

Predictions CFP:

Alabama: QB is again new.  The rest of the team is LOADED.

Oklahoma:  Talent at skill positions.  Experience.  Plenty of depth.  Love this team.

Clemson:  I worry about them going TO FSU, but the experienced QB will find a way to win that one.

Ohio State:  Michigan is getting all the pub.  Yes, OSU is young (aren’t they always?).  I love Barrett leading the youngsters past Michigan and friends.

DARKHORSE:  I don’t care about the close call last night.  If Bama doesn’t go, Tennessee WILL.  You read that here.

Once again rushed on this part.  More to come…

LINE:

Predictions NFL:

We know some of the contenders are Green Bay, Seattle, Carolina, New England, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Cincy, Denver, and KC.

SEEMINGLY UNBIASED PREDICTION:  I like Arizona over New England in the Super Bowl.  Of course, EVERYTHING relies on Palmer’s health for the Cardinals, but I think he makes it and makes better decisions in the playoffs.  It will be a brutal NFC playoff run though.  I just think the window for Arizona is now, and we will ALL enjoy Bruce Arians during Super Bowl week.

SEEMINGLY BIASED PREDICTION I WANT TO PICK BUT THEN YOU WILL THINK I AM JUST BEING A HOMER:  I think the Steelers are LOADED.  I think Ben can beat New England on the road.  Their young guys playing in the weakest area will grow up quickly (secondary).  Steelers over Cards in a repeat SB matchup.

I will break down the playoffs and divisions this week.

SINKER:

Not really a sinker…just this weekend’s picks.

OU (-9) AT HOUSTON:  My wife and friends might have a heart attack at Stoney’s before the game is done, but OU gets by in a very close game.

MISS AT FSU (-6) (Orlando):  Surprised the spread is only 6.  FSU might struggle early, but will break away in second half.

ND (-3) AT TEXAS: Texas is quietly reloading.  I smell an upset in Austin.

USC AT BAMA (-10) (Arlington):  USC is on the upswing.  But not tomorrow.  Bama.

UCLA AT TEXAS A&M (-2.5):  I LOVE UCLA’s team this year.  I think they pull an upset in College Station.

KANSAS STATE AT STANFORD (-16): Stanford.  Too good.  The Christian show.

CLEMSON (-7) AT AUBURN: Clemson can only get a decent road win.  Auburn can shock the country.  Won’t happen.  Clemson wins by two touchdowns.

LSU (-9) AT WISCONSIN (Lambeau):  Fournette runs for 200 yards.  Game.  Over.

THE RIVER:

-Brock Turner going to jail for 6 months for having sex with an unconscious woman is wrong.  Him getting out halfway through the sentence is utterly ridiculous.

-Sure, the Pats will miss Rob Ninkovich as any team would miss a high quality DE.  But, they will be just fine without him with that opening 4 game schedule.

-The Bills are trying to make their move and they cut Manny Lawson.  Listen, it is THEIR show, and I haven’t seen all of the practices, but I would have kept him around at least for the locker room.

-Iowa was a 100-1 bet a week ago?  Wow.  I might have thrown $10 on them.  They are a boring team, sure.  But, they have lots of experience coming back in comparison to a lot of the teams in the Big Ten.

-Great.  MORE players are dissing the national anthem now?  Free country.  I get it.  I think there are better ways though.

-I plan on catching every Puig interview in the next week.  He HAS to still be a jackass deep inside there.

-Tonight is the CU-CSU game.  Big deal around here (rest of nation yawns).

-I am hearing that I need to drop everything and watch Stranger Things.  It is football season.  Tough luck.

Daily Reports…

FINANCES:  Bryan S. still owes me $40.  I owe Hoban a burrito I forgot about and $5 for getting Chill to sign up.  Greg was paid today, as well as Rudy.

VINCE’S SPANISH:  He is 10% fluent now.  I love the updates.  I don’t love having to copy and paste what he sends me into a Google browser to translate.  Too funny.

STAKEHOLDER: Hoban got paid on the Chill prize, so he doesn’t get double bonused being a stakeholder.

SOCIAL MEDIA: 481 Twitter followers, 45 Instagram followers.

PRIZES: No additional prizes today.

TIME: Greg, it took a little longer today given the predictions.  Let’s call it 41 minutes door to door.

NEW DAILY $2 TRIVIA (sorry-Google is too powerful and you can look it up, so the daily prize has to be about…me)-deadline is 8pm Mountain tonight: What three schools did I apply to for college?

WEEKEND SCHEDULE: CU-CSU tonight, OU-Houston game tomorrow, maybe watch the Nebraska game with Marty and Hoban tomorrow night, Waterworld Sunday, and last day Uptown is open Monday.

And it is the weekend, so again begins the weekly Instagram attack from justmarkfiller.

That’s it for today.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
