Noooo. I’m so sorry. The answer is The Moops.

Read it, don’t read it, I don’t care…just needed to get some things off my chest.

In no particular order of chronology or importance…

On the clock.  Evening rant.  Let’s turn and burn.

1)       I am watching the end of the US Open while writing this, watching a course that is drying, soft, and in optimal conditions for birdies STILL kick the hell out of everyone on the course.  Earlier today, there were two people under par…and they hadn’t teed off yet.  Now, everyone is trying to finish up and there is ONE person under par.  This will be a fun weekend with this course.  Tiger is looking just fine going into moving day at 3 over, which is pretty darn good for today’s scores.  At one point, I counted the number of golfers 15 over or worse.  FOURTEEN.  And that was midday.

2)      Well, it is pretty simple.  WHEN the Big Three from Miami all do their thing, they are pretty much unbeatable.  Wade had 32 last night, LeBron did his usual thing, and even Bosh had 20 and 13 (yes. THIRTEEN rebounds).  Pop will adjust of course, and we still have a series, but home court advantage is back with the Heat.  Now, we come to Game 5, where some ridiculous percentage of teams have won the championship after winning Game 5.  I am sticking with San Antonio in 6 games.

3)      Odd how one sided all of these NBA games are.  It is like we know who is taking the game midway through the third quarter every time.  Irritating.  Can we get a buzzer beater?

4)      Holy smokes.  The Galaxy phone pauses video when you look away?  That is pretty dope, but I have a feeling that might have some kinks in it.  I still feel like they are leading the cool feature march.

5)      I didn’t actually like the Heat starting Mike Miller.  They won, so I have no proof, but I just think injecting him off the bench surprises the other team and makes them adjust mid stride.  It is like I thought Erik Spoelstra looked frightened before tip and not like a guy who had won it already.  I guess HE did OK too.

6)      There is ANOTHER Wolverine movie?  Hugh Jackman just uses the movie as an excuse to stay in shape.

7)      If Tiger doesn’t win, I have a feeling we will be hearing a LOT more about a left wrist than we are right now.

8)      The A’s won in 18 innings last night.  This is a story because we are presently on pace to break the all time record for extra inning games in a season.  I am not sure why I care about that when we haven’t even gotten to the All Star break, but that is what I read.  Tell your friends.

9)      Adam Wainwright quietly got to 10 wins already.  That dude is STEALTH when talking about how many decent years he has under the radar.  He was runner up to Halladay a few years ago in the Cy Young Award voting, and a couple years before that, he became the second pitcher ever to get the most amount of first votes and LOSE.  Lincecum won it that year.

10)   If you are looking for guys at the almost midpoint to be eyeing as a future winner of the Open, Mickelson, Rose, and Stricker all have the game and ALL were able to finish barely before night time.  They got really lucky on timing and now can sleep in.

11)   Mookie Blaylock got out of one jail only to go directly into another jail.  It will be fun.  It is a NEW jail, with a couple similarities like prison bars and stuff.

12)   The Rockies had a bad day.  Tulo is out 4-6 weeks, Dexter Fowler got hurt, and Cargo also joined the injury party.  Things really do happen in three’s.

13)   I couldn’t imagine sipping on a bourbon and water and suddenly ending up in the water.  OK.  I actually have had that happen, but not when I EXPECTED to be safe on a sturdy bar deck in Miami.

14)   A source is saying that Chris Paul and Snowball want to align forces and be teammates on a new team.  I am SO tired of this crap.  First of all, Chris, you are an idiot for leaving Blake and if I was him, I would want to beat you down every time.  Snowball is leaving Kobe.  I HATE this joining forces crap.  Charles Barkley said it best after the Miami Thrice joined up.  He said “when I looked across the court at Larry Bird, I didn’t think for ONE second of JOINING him.  I wanted to BEAT him with whatever hand I was dealt.”

15)   Realizing the Jets might not make the wire, Rex Ryan told the media today that “he is a better coach than people give him credit for.”  I have met people who live in a bubble.  I am REALLY starting to believe that he thinks he actually won a championship.  Moors.  Moops.  Moors.  Moops.  Dude is OUT there.

16)   When the NBA fines someone for flopping, do players just take it out of their spare pocket cash.  $5k?  Chris Bosh’s salary?  It is like useless.

17)   Nugs G Andre Iguadola will opt out of his contract next year.  The Nuggets have had so many changes in the front office and coaching, and have so many semi-star moving parts, no one is even sure if they care about him doing this.

18)  Hold the phone.  This is nuts, and a sign of the paralyzing grip Bama has on the college football world.  The #1 QB recruit just announced his school for 2014.  His name is David Cornwell and he freaking LIVES in Norman (sorry, Linds).  That is whack.

19)   That is it.  Hope you enjoyed.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
