Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Hope you got the first two games right like I did.

I am thankful for:

-Morality.  I might not be the most successful person on this earth for my early potential, but I still would never steal a Chapstick from a store, would help an old woman across the street, and wake up every day more or less wanting to do the right thing.  Thank you, Mom and Dad.  I thought you were strict when I was young, but although I am not likable still today, I do more right things in a day then most people do in a year who did not learn from you.

-My fiancee.  Maybe Lindsey and I are made for each other, or maybe she is the only person who can tolerate me, or maybe we are just lucky and hope that you are that lucky too.  She is the light of my life, I hope I make her feel that way every morning, and would die without her.

-My brother and his family.  I have still been too far away, But I love you all and I hope you know I am trying to not be the distant Uncle/Brother I have been for like 20 years.

-Lindsey’s family.  Her dad is a sometimes grumpy OU football fan who drinks Jameson and still is very fun and knows his football, her mom is one of the coolest cats on this earth on all levels, her brother somehow understands and builds on my dumb jokes (manana), and Avery…just don’t mess with Avery…OK?

-My friends.  All five of you.  Scott, Kyle, Adam, Vince, and Cerk.  And Lindsey, because your lover should also be your friend.

-Work.  I happened to stumble into a job that accentuates the one freaking thing I CAN do continuously.  Work harder than everyone.  Working for David is definitely following someone who backs up his shit in belief and vision.

-Tomorrow.  Somehow I still look 28 when I am 42.  Sorry.  You need to stop cleansing for weeks, not eating McDonald’s. and just RELAX.

-My Jeep.  If I don’t put Eleanor on this list, she will break down tomorrow and I will have to buy a new Jeep.  I am not ready to do that yet.  I love you Eleanor.

-My grandfather.  For better or worse in a lot of ways, he made me what I am and I might have a full head of hair also when I am 80.  The Queen of Hearts will never leave my wallet.  COLD TURKEY, Grampa.

-Pittsburgh Steelers.  Yup.  Diehard.  Born in an Eagles family, thanks Uncle David for the conversion, and I would run through a wall for them…but not get a tattoo.  That is silly.  Running through a wall gives you injuries that might be temporary.

-Rocky.  You made me still box to this day, and got me out of at least 3 late night possible altercations where I was where I shouldn’t have been.  The heavy bag and gold chain were my two greatest gifts I have ever received.  I still work out to the music, and you should too.

-Rikki Tikki Tavi.  Because you were a badass and happened to be a mongoose who killed large cobras.

(Game of Thrones is not there yet.  Easy.  Not on the level of Rocky and Rikki, but I THOUGHT about it.  I didn’t include BOURNE in this.  Geez.)

Happy Turkey Day, all.  Lindsey is working tomorrow, I have a dog to watch, my Jeep is going in the shop, so I assume that I will write SOMETHING tomorrow.  I have to go watch Game of Thrones/ flip to the 49ers/ Seahawks game.  Like three episodes at least.  Later.  Peace.

-By the way, Jimmy Fallon is one of the funniest people on earth.
