Totally confused.
Thoughts for the day…
- Anytime you feel old, know that Tom Coughlin is a job search candidate in the NFL.
- You are welcome, Cleveland Browns, for this being an absolutely USELESS game for my Steelers. You might get TWO wins after all.
- I have not talked to one person in passing who is excited at ALL about this Ronda Rousey fight.
- For those of you late comers JUST finding out about Lonzo Ball at UCLA, know, as I have said before, there are TWO more brothers in H.S. coming to UCLA (of course Lonzo will be long gone by then). If you haven’t seen the most recent three/ half court shot, then you haven’t lived.
- That is the weirdest story about Ariza and the Mavs and Rockets. I think Trevor is just still pissed for leaving a winning team for cash.
- Just when I am quietly happy that Cam Newton and the Panthers are crap, he goes to a little boy’s Christmas on a wish from his teacher on social media. This is exactly the same feeling I had when Cam was seen randomly giving money to a homeless person. Either be good or be bad. I can’t follow this.
- Adorable that KD and LeBron are getting the backs of refs and hating the two minute thing on refs after games.
- Viral sensation that I noticed on Twitter and then Deadspin also picked up. Where the HELL are the missing LEGS? Just not enough. This had to be photoshopped, right?
- So, the Bucs have the longest of all long shots to make the playoffs, and their star RB gets suspended. Not so much a team player is Doug Martin.

- Carson Wentz bought all of his O-linemen shotguns. Cool gift. This present would NOT work in the NBA I can assure you.
- AJ Green will miss 1,000 yards for the first time in his career because of sitting the final game. Sad stat that truly displays the kind of career he is having.
- Talk about two confusing college teams in the last 10 years, always teasing us they might be good without an argument one year. They played each other thankfully, so nothing is resolved. Pitt lost to Northwestern.
- Baylor whipped Boise State in their bowl game, and I am pretty sure I was wrong about 90% of Baylor games after about the fourth week.
- Didn’t Washington State put up like a million points a few weeks back against a Pac-12 opponent. Then, they go get TWELVE points against a subpar Minnesota team? Non sequitur.
- True. I have ESPN on at home when it is just me hanging around the house, but actually caught myself watching a little NBDL action last night. It is SOOOOO intriguing for me to hear the names of ex-college players who we asked “SURE you should go to draft early?????”
- I am like Forrest Gump running when cleaning. As soon as I cleaned the fridge, I decided to clean the pantry. And since I had cleaned this far, I decided to take out the trash and recyclables. Etc.
- I can’t imagine if I was in New Orleans next week DURING a day when the Steelers game mattered. It doesn’t. Obstacle averted.
- I can’t IMAGINE how crazy I will be on Instagram next week. Just can’t even fathom it when I am constant on a home weekend in CO. NYE in N.O.???? Yeah.
- The grass is green, the sky is blue, and the Russian officials have admitted to doping. Now, I can get some sleep since THAT is out.
