Thoughts for the day…

  1. I think reading MMQB should be on everyone’s schedule every Monday…great read every time.  Peter covered the three barn burners very well today.
  2. There was a new Family Guy on last night.  I compare it with Seinfeld in one way.  There was an early period, a middle period where everything was perfect, and there is a later period where it is still funny, but slightly too engineered and over the top.  Great stuff still…just manufactured a little too much in plot.
  3. Between the Broncos-Saints game, the Steelers-Cowboys game, and the Seahawks-Pats game, it was a great day of football no matter who you were rooting for.
  4. When did the Steelers two point conversion attempts/ plays get so low percentage in nature?  I feel like they did it pretty easily before this year.
  5. Did you hear Joe Buck bust out the Big Ben/ Parliament-Nation Lampoon’s reference?  Pretty funny.
  6. I don’t get to see my parents as much as I should, but trip is booked, and excited to run in the ocean a couple times after some great days with my parents.
  7. Kris Wilkes committed to UCLA in basketball.  Good player, and some exits after this year will give him a landing spot…along with his 4 ridiculous others in this pledge class.  There is no way Steve Alford can mess this up, right?
  8. Michigan lost and only could smile that they messed up Ohio State in doing so and can still take care of business as Ohio State is obviously  on their schedule.
  9. Ohio State might be #2 in the rankings and not make the playoff-amazing.
  10. We all talked about three top five teams going down this weekend, but they all are truly still in the mix at this point and just need to win out.
  11. And if anyone DOES trip up, OU is chilling out with two early losses ready to pounce.
  12. Again, Skip Bayless is really a main reason I think I can make it in sports.  If THAT dude has shows on TV, then I firmly have a view on the bottom of the barrel.
  13. I wonder if Intern Doug even READS this anymore let alone come back from Chicago or wherever he is.  I hope the bender is treating you well, Doug.
  14. I still feel like no fridge company has really figured out how to make a good ice maker.
  15. Poker is Friday.  Past couple of winners all playing.  It will definitely be a good time regardless.
  16. Will everyone please come to the consensus that we should just put hot sauce out with the salt and pepper on a regular basis?
  17. I somehow lost at fantasy football with DeMarco getting me 30 points before HALFTIME.
  18. That Winston scramble back near his own end zone was pretty stellar and showed a lot of skills in a 5 second span.
  19. I like the commercials where they have to decide to keep or get rid of a celebrity.  It is no Ice Tea commercial, but you know…
  20. Let’s do our daily moment of silence for our fallen subscribers, although I think my rough draft MAY have gone out oddly.  I didn’t change a thing, and am getting pretty frustrated.
  21. I lacked the energy to go drive somewhere for this Super Moon thing.
  22. Again, Kaep, if you didn’t vote, then be quiet about Trump, and know your kneels and signs ring a little more hollow when you don’t do the process.
  23. I am ready to let the cats have at it during the day, as the separation thing is exhausting.
  24. My mustache was horrible yesterday and amazingly still horrible today.  Weird.
  25. Not ready to talk about the Steelers…
  26. My guy in Twitter (Jim Weber) stopped following me.  That is rude.  Now you are on my “list.”  You can hang out with Woody Paige while you are on it.
  27. I wish I could get a trial on new video games to see if I would enjoy them, or get addicted to them.  Just a trial where I could pull the plug.
  28. Who am I kidding?  My personality is too dangerous for that.  Stay away, games.
  29. Lakers are 6-5, and that is just crazy with that lineup.  Nice job, Luke.
  30. The Nets are 4-5, and this is even more impressive.  Just give Kenny Atkinson the coach of the year right NOW.  That lineup is just BAD.
  31. #twocatmark photos from weekend will be in another day’s cast.
  32. Duke is still #1 in the land in basketball.  Tomorrow, you get to check out some of the best couple freshman in the country when the first big meet happens.  Duke/ KU.
  33. Alshon Jeffery got suspended four games for PED’s.  Not good, but now at least Jay Cutler can pass off a small amount of hatred he is getting from ALL of the Bears fans.
  34. If you A) want to see who the next coming is in basketball or B) just want to know who to watch this year in college hoops, the answer is most likely on THIS list.  http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/18024399/introducing-group-freshmen-define-college-basketball-season
  35. I feel like Jeremy Hellickson either got a) more wins money (not by looking at his record) or B) youth money (he is 29).  17.2 million.  Tough decision.  But I guess the Phils need to keep SOMEONE to get any better.
  36. That’s it for today.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
