  1. Greetings and salutations, people. Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  Super speed version as I had to write a work blog today also.  For newcomers, that means come back or read older posts if you want more in depth thoughts.  This is one sentence and one sentence only per hook style.
  2. I am SO embarrassed to tell you Happy Festivus a day late, and shame on me as a Seinfeld expert for forgetting the important Seinfeld holiday.
  3. Kind of cool how ESPN has had a Star Wars drop down all week on mobile.
  4. Osweiler will start for the Broncos, as he probably should, as for right now, a moving target is probably better than a stationary, semi-injured target…one of the best ever or not.
  5. I don’t remember the last time I was this excited for a Christmas Day NBA game, and I hope Lindsey’s dad (keeper of the living room TV tomorrow) understands that the Warriors still only have ONE loss, are on a historical pace, and the Cavs are FINALLY at full strength.
  6. What a SAD story that a Ravens rookie had to take the hit on an $11k dinner bill, and I would be homeless after paying that tab.
  7. Nkemdiche (pre hotel fall) STARTED the trend of it being cool and highly recruited and going to Ole Miss, but anyone notice they are tracking for ANOTHER top class this year so it is NOT just a passing trend?
  8. 19/13/6…not too shabby of stats, to be super NBA player, Ben Simmons.

  10. Speaking of OU, they just nabbed the A&M transfer kid, Kyler Murray, and that is a nice backup plan for whatever happens to Baker.
  11. I remember Murray on rivals a year or two ago, and he was Mr. Texas, got three state championships, went 42-0 during his career, was a Gatorade Player of the Year, and the #1 dual threat QB coming out of high school.
  12. Problem is that he is 5’11”.
  13. Problem for Texas is their program is in SO good of shape that they passed on this kid both in HS AND now transferring.
  14. Dirk passed Shaq on the all time scoring list, and whoever out there doesn’t recognize the greatness of this German miracle, check out the company he is now on.
  15. And he has a title, so no worries about being called the Dan Marino of basketball or anything.
  16. I was cleaning out a closet at our place when Lindsey asked if I wanted to be in a dance party right at that moment, and sorry but I passed for that night.

  19. Before you think that Golden State Warriors are proactively telling us they are the best in the NBA or best at their position, know that these freaking reporters are ASKING them these questions.

  21. Lindsey was watching one of her weird law/murder shows last night (Making of a Murderer?) and my only observation was how close the theme music sounded to Game of Thrones.
  22. If you read the article on ESPN about plays of the year that determined our final four college football teams, proud to say I was there watching for OU’s at the TCU game.
  23. Another state bites the dust, as Illinois bows out of daily fantasy action.
  24. I am trying to figure out why the cat thinks the running circuit in our home involves going around the Christmas tree and ruining all of our wrapped presents.
  25. My Jeep, Eleanor, passed her LAST emissions test today (as she will be replaced by next year), and on the way home on my old school radio I heard four songs like MADE for me…Home Sweet Home (Crue), Devil Went Down To Georgia (CDB), Sandler’s Hanukkah Song, and New York (Jay Z).
