Catch of the Day.

HOOK:

“Lessons.”

-It is odd that with ALL of the top shelf recruits Duke has, none of them is a top tier starting PG.  Could be problematic.

-Watching Kentucky get out of the platoon process of last year and back into the dribble drive, normal rotation John Calipari offense was fun last night.

-Kansas has talent, experience, and depth, but I felt like they were feeding the wrong guys the ball down the stretch last night.

-Michigan State has shooters, depth, talent, and size.  They had people out injured last night and still won.  They are very much for REAL.  My revised Final Four after less than a week.  Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan State, and Maryland.  Temporarily kicking UVA and Gonzaga out.

LINE:

“McHale.”

I get when a team quits on a coach sometimes a change has to be made.  But the Rockets have more going on then that.

-Ty Lawson is a coach killer and he is joined by other coach killers and whiners on that team.

-Judging a team at 4-7 is pretty early in the season.

-How can you NOT listen to a HOF player on the sidelines when you don’t even have ONE title?

–The Rockets are misfits, and I hope they go down in flames.

SINKER:

“Goals.”

I should have become a runner, because I am slightly jealous the world record holder of the beer mile just got a shoe contract with Brooks.  Congrats, person next on my list of things where I might have missed my calling.

Oh, and either the saddest cute story I heard today, or the cutest sad story I have heard today.  http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14163864/former-nfl-quarterback-doug-flutie-parents-die-same-day

That’s it for today.  Talk to you tomorrow.  Peace.
