Catch of the Day.
Too much going on with me watching the basketball games tonight while doing major surgery on my fantasy teams, so just a couple quick thoughts for tonight:
- Nice that right before the Duke-Kentucky game, #6 recruit “Bam” Adebayo announces his commitment to Kentucky. Rich get richer.
- You should not read this until AFTER the Duke-Kentucky game. I am writing this at commercials as it is.
- This is a newbie game. The late game is the “we are CLOSER to been there-done that than the early game” KU-MSU game. 79% and 63% respectively of last year’s scoring back.
- So, Rousey gets a 60 day medical suspension as she probably is still asking family and friends who they are and where she is.
- Maddon and Bannister BOTH won about 20 more games than either team’s fan base thought they would win this year. Well deserved awards today.
- Yay. Manziel will start the rest of the year, meaning we have jokes whether they are on or off the field.
- Most non baseball fans don’t know who Brandon Crawford is, but SMART contract given to him by the Giants. Solid SS for years to come and good investment.
- I see the Rockets have had a players only meeting. Have the Pelicans already done that and I missed it?
- Just go away now, Aldon Smith, and we will always treasure you as a great waste of talent.
- With some of them that have come through the program, kind of weird Duke really doesn’t have a true starting PG this year presently.
- Scary stuff now that a friendly soccer match in Germany has been cancelled with a suspicious object found.
- David Ortiz announced he is retiring after next year. Dude is just flat out a winner and I will be rooting for him to go out on a solid note.
- Please tell me this Nebraska rape story I hear is just a rumor and not true.

- What a weak snowstorm. I hate being teased, as we have been the last 5 or 6 years here in Denver.
- Glad I stashed Victor Cruz on my fantasy roster up until now so I could be the late season genius…not.
- Tell your friends. The Packers are now 0-3 since the Mike Ditka commercial first aired with him in Packer gear. Just saying.
- Geez, Cincy. Way to lay an egg. Actually, I guess I should be happy. Hating the Bengals is more important than my blog prediction or fantasy football TE doing well.
- It is what it is, Rob Ryan. Allowing 47 points against the Redskins is just not good on any level.
- I am not ready to discuss the UVA basketball game and their loss to GW. Brogdon was a stud and they will grow together. Playing that good of team defense just doesn’t automatically happen and allowing more than 70 points is not their easy road to victory.
- Is Seattle who we think they are or is Arizona just finally good?
- Curry passes his dad in hoops so hopefully he gets a day or two in that nice recliner.
- Melo had a double double the other day??? We know it wasn’t assists, right?
- 13 rebounds? Wow, Melo. YOU TRIED!!!!!
- I am starting to come around that the Panthers are pretty good.
- Just when we start to think DeMarcus Cousins really IS an a-hole, he goes and pays for a funeral like a nice guy.
- Just when we were hoping Derrick Rose would come around from his injuries, we hear he might have blurred vision for months.
