Players are testing Serena, but she fights back every time. With a calendar Slam in the cards, people should be excited. Now, it gets really interesting and then really processional. I can see Sharapova giving her a run and possibly breaking that 16 match losing streak to her. Ok. THAT might not happen, but Maria has a better chance than the other side of the draw, so let’s hope for excitement sake that Sharapova makes it fun.
On the men’s side, Djokovic needed a surprising fifth set to advance to a TWENTY FIFTH straight Grand Slam Quarterfinal. Pretty amazing run of consistency. But, unlike the women’s draw, this is far from over. Cilic is no pushover on grass, Wawrinka and Gasquet BOTH won’t be too fearful of playing Novak, and Federer and Murray (my personal pick pre tourney) are still lurking. Rock on, Andy. Should be fun.

Classy and economical, the Warriors sent should be NBA starter David Lee to the Celtics for Gerald Wallace. With Wallace, he may or may not work out, and the Warriors might not even care. With Lee, he goes to a historical team that is trying to rebuild, and has recently signed big man, Amir Johnson, as his sandbox buddy in the paint. Good new beginning, and he has a ring now.
Mo Williams Take Two isn’t as practical as it is adorable, but the Cavs are loading up, and backup PG’s are good to have..
The Warriors keeping Barbosa is more smart and less adorable and I think he gives them MORE quickness off the bench that is irritating for other team’s second units.
Marc Gasol staying with the Griz is only surprising as they are not a historical team, and he didn’t even look around. Loyal kid.

Kershaw is being dubbed a snub, 147 K’s is pretty incredible, he is my guy as a pitcher, but it is what it is. A 5-6 record as a starter should only get you in if your ERA is sick, and his is above 3.00. It is about THIS year THUS FAR.
Chris Sale losing his bid for a record 10th straight 10 K game is sad, but pretty stellar he still won the game. Nice run, kid.
Evidently, Donovan McNabb did NOT save enough money for future cabs or that “buy a driver” idea I have stated in this thing 100 times.
Finally, the video of FSU’s ex- QB Johnson was horrible, I don’t care what she said and if it was racial, and he is now DONE as a QB in college. Domestic abuse is sometimes forgiven in the sports business, but a VISUAL of it will RUIN him forever. By the way, just don’t hit a girl.
