Catch Of The Day

We here talkin’ about practice…

HOOK:

“HOF.”

As most of you know, although I love football, I was not sad when the HOF game was cancelled.  Funny story and all, but these are all PRACTICES to me, and not really watchable experiences unless I am curious about roster movement on my team and my team only.  Bad line paint of not, I will see you all in the regular season.

LINE:

“WR.”

The line I am talking about is the most exciting line in the Olympics.  It is unrelenting and apathetic, but it is VERY exciting to watch in a swimming race.  I am talking about the yellow world record line that Ledecky passed this weekend and will probably pass again in future races.  Can’t believe we survived without this line or the yellow line in football.  Tonight, we have the women’s 100m backstroke and the guys 200m freestyle.  Here is hoping Baker and Dwyer can get the USA a couple wins.

Wow, that Phelps relay race last night was exciting, and it was pretty easy to pick the top three medal spots.

Check out this link.  Funny column about a media person’s first time to the Olympics.  http://www.si.com/olympics/2016/08/08/2016-rio-olympics-first-games

SINKER:

“Village.”

Sure, the man bike crash was scary.  And sure, the Dutch woman’s crash was MUCH scarier.  And the tibia of that gymnast was a one time viewing only for most of us.  But, my sinker for today is the boxer from the Olympic Village, who not only sexually assaulted one of the housekeepers, but was the SECOND boxer to do such a thing since people arrived.  Scary.

THE RIVER:

-Speaking of Talib being back at practice, when are they telling us that he shot himself?  Where did this story GO?

-I personally am happy for RGIII getting a starting gig back on ANY team, but it is the Browns, so levels of excitement are obviously tempered.

-Maybe if he ever loses the starting spot, he can get Joey Bosa’s mom to handle the problem.

-Very sad and WAY too young for a lineman for Arizona to die in his sleep.

-Durant is the new villain, but stop with every single update about that team.  That is great he comes to Golden State in February, but I DON’T CARE RIGHT NOW.  We are approaching football and have the Olympics and baseball going on presently.

That’s it for today.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
