Thoughts for the day…
- No blog template until we have our subscribers back. They have been out of the picture for over two months I believe aside from two random Mondays, one of them just being a draft. I was told to wait for the new update. Well, I just updated JetPack when a new update appeared. Here is hoping.
- Some people actually typed in the URL and kept reading. Many of them are very lazy though. For those who didn’t, WAY too much to catch you up on in one blog. Welcome back hopefully…
- I don’t even think they have SEEN the new blog template. They will once we go a few days with them receiving updates.
- Watching Notre Dame-Northwestern basketball presently. I have been waiting to catch a full half of ND basketball, as their box scores have looked very impressive.
- CU basketball is back evidently. Texas is not a great team. Barely a good team presently. But, CU OWNED them today. Impressive win on a neutral court.
- #twocatmark not only has a cat integration going on, but now the integration is halted because of a sick cat. I didn’t even know cats WORE these things.
- MNF in Mexico was pretty cool. I made sure I watched the beginning so I could see the reception. Respectful, positive, and pretty awesome post our anthem. All in all, questionable reffing was replaced by a decent game with a great crowd. They should do it again.
- Amari Cooper did NOT get me my 24 points. Under .500 again in fantasy. Ugghhh.
- I am surrounded by three guys at work (minimally) who discuss vaguely Westworld. I might have to buy in because A) they say it is really good B) I could actually listen to what they talk about and C) figure out if my Total Recall/ Matrix/ Lost/ Truman Show explanation of my attempts of understanding it was anywhere near correct.
- Hope I am kind of wrong. Not my A List of shows/ movies.
- Just saw the UVA basketball present game score against Grambling. 62-14. That works for now. I kind of like Jack Salt getting more minutes with Austin Nichols out. Need one other guy to step up though for any sort of run.
- Speaking of UVA, Bruce AREEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAA. New USA soccer coach. Some might say it is a retread. I rationalize it by saying A) he actually got us good again years ago even though he failed to complete the run and B) he is UVA and we won 3 or 4 championships when I was at UVA and he was coaching.
- For you subscribers returning to action, Intern Doug never came back from the Cubs World Series games. I am out an intern, and not replacing him until after the holidays. So, sorry for any grammatical errors.
- Yes, I would prefer the Steelers to play the Colts WITH Andrew Luck playing.
- You can hate Michigan. You can hate Ohio State. Do what you have to do. But know this. Like it or not, college football is better with both of them being better. Saturday will determine a LOT for the CFP.
- Of course, the top 4 stayed the same. Fun starts NOW.
- UK bball is #1 again in the rankings. It will be a rotation with 4-5 teams this season, but circle this date on your calendar for the next fun game for these talented youngsters. Lonzo Ball from UCLA and HIS recruiting class buds will try and jack up the more heralded ones from Lexington.
- Lonzo Ball is going to be AWESOME.
- I don’t know what is better. The weird Charlie Strong semi-firing or the Matthew McConaughey interview on the streets of Austin.
- Catching up on The Voice right now. Christian’s Toto Rosanna was pretty awesome.
- I am still rooting for Sundance, but he was NOT stellar last night. Still think he advances.
- Notre Dame barely won that Northwestern game by the way. But, that Jersey PG from ND has my attention now for the season.
- Now, FINALLY Notre Dame can forget about that brutal championship game from a couple years ago. Because it now doesn’t exist.
- Of COURSE, you were only in an exciting moment and meant nothing by it, Kirk Cousins. Of COURSE. We understand. Just a coincidence a franchise tag player is that excited.
