Thoughts for the day…

Greetings and salutations, people. Thanks for coming aboard (the boat). Let’s turn and burn.
Heading to Winter Park tomorrow. This is my last will and testament until after the bracket is released. I am not even posting tonight (Thursday) as I plan on adding some pics and stuff. Let’s move.
FSU basketball is HUGE in size, and Va Tech better be glad that there are no back to back nights in the tourney…too much for them against a squad that averages 6’7″. The Cuse is like the only other monstrous lineup on a usual basis because of the 2-3 zone need.
Xavier made things confusing tonight by beating Butler. Someone’s bubble just burst.
I was watching The Voice before UVA just started. I definitely think now that certain judges aren’t turning around to let other judges have ringers. Keys just jams and smiles and then allows someone else to grab them. How nice of her.
We are severely lacking “rockers” in this season thus far. Damn. I need someone to come in and jam out Dokken.
My phone just “found a new folder.” I have no idea what that means. I have no idea mostly what my phone does on its own.
Maybe THIS is the way to do this blog…just type when I have a few moments. I decided I won’t post tonight and will do it tomorrow evening, but kind of fun. I can post some pics, watch bball, etc.
I thought the NBA free agency time was crazy with 8/6 stat line guys getting ridiculous money, but with Mike Glennon getting 3/45 mil today in the NFL, I know we are now very near the end. Get some canned goods and buy a place with a basement.

Scarlett is on SNL this weekend. My #1 (sorry, Halle, you are getting older). Basketball, basketball, WP, WP, basketball, basketball, WP, WP, Scarlett, WP, basketball, basketball, WP, drive back…something like that.
Alshon Jeffery will now have played in Chicago and Philly. If he switches teams in the next few years, he needs to go west where they won’t get mad at him when he has one bad play. Brutal back to back teams.
UVA is losing to Notre Dame right now. Not anything I would lose sleep over as this is not the tourney I ultimately care about, but I really want a #3 or #4 seed for 2nd and 3rd round matchups, and they need at least two more to get that.
Duke beat UL and is going to be SO hard to predict in the tourney. If they pull a big front court team in the second round, they could be done very soon. They will survive against guard-y mid majors.
I think I will wake up and Russell will have a triple double, because Aldon Smith had a legal problem today and aren’t these just daily happenings in our life?
Well, and Ty Lawson doing something wrong, just warrants or not.
Pump fake. Wow. No Romo release? No LT picked up by Broncos? That “other” trade which I will get to in a second? Wow.
Don’t freak out about KU losing. But here is the thing. NO front court depth, so be alarmed and check the height of anyone they face early. Similar problem as Duke. Second. Bill Self HATES conference tourneys, so he, I , and you shouldn’t care. And that is not enough for TCU to make it given all of these factors and their entire resume.
So, March is bball. April is Masters. May is my cruise. June is…something. And July 16th is Game of Thrones being released. August is probably Panic in VA. I will stop there. Combine that with work and I am booked for a while.
I don’t bet NBA much if at all (until college ends of course), but if I did, I would probably have bet that the Warriors could have busted the Celts at their own crib. Wrong.
Some good WR tandems forming. Jackson/ Evans? Beckham/ Marshall? Wow. Jameis and Eli? No excuses THIS year.
Every time I wake up and think I won’t smell the morning or see sunshine, I realize that Kenny Stills still has a job, so ANYTHING can happen.
Stephon Gilmore to the Pats? For a draft pick? When the Pats have top five of cap room in the league? Tell me something. Is there a The Voice conspiracy to keep allowing the Pats to get these players? Oh, and Dwayne Allen? Come on, people. Watch Moneyball again and get back to me. Someone has to be smarter than them. Or, is everyone else content with them winning shit every other year.
You can join your stupid bracket pool, but know this. I am entering two brackets in two pools, one UVA and one neutral. Then, I am entering three entries in the Knockout Pool, which is the best pool in the USA. Ping me if you would be interested, which you should be.
Brock. I am signing off for tonight, so I will keep this short. The Texans had to unload their books. The Browns are trying to be the early 90’s Cowboys, present Pats, take III. They want draft picks. Listen, it is not stupid, but a gamble either way you look at it. It is about the math though. Brock is living the life of Matt Cassell right now and just let him enjoy it.
UVA is getting smoked by ND. Ugghhh.

Lindsey had Batman The Dark Knight on last night. It still pisses me off that they made Batman vs. Superman. I don’t get it. One is a mortal dressed in combat gear with toys. The other guy is from a different planet who can fly. Non sequitur to me personally…
Love how they added decimal points to make Kris Bryant the highest second year player of all time. Mike Trout loses a record. Not really worried about Trout getting more though…at all.
Last night was one of the reasons why UVA can’t win it all. If they have a turnover plus game, and if Kyle Guy is off, they have NO offense.
Caught up on The Voice. More to come on that. Still picking my favorites.

Bennett to the Pack? He underwhelmed people in New England but still is just bursting with a breakout. Hopefully, that breakout of talent works out better than Vernon Davis.
