Here’s the deal.  No hook, line, sinker, or river.  Steelers kick off in one hour.  I did errands this morning, and don’t feel like starting a blog at 530pm.  Yes, Sunday is typically a more comprehensive blog, but not today.  One sentence per hook, lightning round, and a few pics from weekend.

1.  Greetings and salutations, people, thanks for coming aboard (the boat), and let’s move.
2. Intern Doug still hasn’t returned and I still am searching for a new one, so sorry for the grammatical errors, and this is not edited at all.
3. I still haven’t figured out the subscriber problem, will continue to try and figure it out, but admittedly didn’t really ration much time for solving that puzzle this weekend.
4. If it DID work today after I unplugged and then plugged back in Jetpack, welcome back subscribers for the 20th time and…you have missed a LOT.
5. I feel that Bama looks so much better than other teams that maybe we shouldn’t have a semifinal CFP and maybe just have everyone else play to see who plays them in a  final game.
6. Greg told me about a college basketball player scoring over 100 points this past week, but I can’t find the story, and think he finally caught Jack Taylor’s game tape from 2012.
7. I didn’t think I would like duck fat fries, but I did.
8. The word “duck” initially scared me.
9. Everyone who goes to a restaurant at any point in their life really needs to see the movie Waiting.
10. I don’t mind a dinner party going until close to midnight, but I am not ready for mature conversation topics like politics or health care.
11. One good thing about hanging out with Annette and Bri though is my fantastic Seinfeld material I use every hour is truly, truly appreciated.
12. I think my favorite conversation last night was with the couple’s two year old…who I educated on my favorite dinosaurs.
13. I won’t end up being a dad, but it will probably be wasted quality father talent…oh well.
14. Aaron went on a monologue about Boise and flooding I didn’t understand, but it is ok, because he is really, really funny.
15. We never got to the dance party, which DOES happen when him and I hang out…he had to work early.
16. I ALMOST stayed up way too late watching Straight Outta Compton, but SUCCEEDED in pulling myself away.
17. I think Taylor Hall going to the Devils in the NHL offseason really is going to give their fans something offensively to cheer for.
18. He got traded from the Oilers, who have gotten more #1 draft picks in the last 10 years then I feel like the Flyers have had…ever.
19. In case you care, the first 4 games of my 7 game $10 parlay looks decent.
20. Would pay $900 lol.
21. I stayed later at the dinner party also because I knew THIS guy would be dropping by, and he is worth every minute to hang out with as his loved Cubs are DOING something.
22. Yes, Bauer is going to see the World Series live also.
23. My betting system is not perfect, but is allowing me to have fun…as I missed ALL of my parlays yesterday but hit my big bet on Navy.
24. One or the other and I push.
25. I almost broke the PGA scoring record of 59 yesterday, but then I got reminded I had the back 9 to play.
26. I am not good at golf, but I am better than you would expect for someone who goes out 3 times a year.
27. I don’t feel like giving you my NBA predictions today…too rushed.
28. I don’t feel like giving you my NHL predictions today…too rushed.
29. I didn’t think the Cubs would make the World Series, so now that they have, I think they finish the deal.
30. Hey, Bama, the spread on that A&M game was 18…thanks a freaking LOT.
31. I would recommend OneFold on 18th to locals for brunch.
32. I didn’t watch that Wisconsin-Iowa game, but believe it must have been one of the most boring games of the year for style points.
33. I don’t have elevated expectations for the Steelers-Pats with Landry Jones, so therefore I will get over it quickly if they lose.
34. Trap game, Ohio State, although I still am VERY surprised you still dropped it.
35. No defense was really played, but looking at the list of records that OU-Texas Tech broke takes a WHILE.
36. Cards Against Humanity is a very fun game, and when I was playing against the 4 ladies last night, I was raking on winning hands…my rationale is that I provided the only MALE card, so therefore I stood out to the judge.
37. I think I might be Puddy as the face painter for Halloween since I was thinking about it with my Devils hook.
38. You know, there really aren’t ANY Devils fans that exist, as I am from there, and if you go too far north you are in Rangers/ Islanders country and if you go too far south, you are a Flyers fan.
39. I have “tic tac SNL tweet” written on my blog list but don’t remember what that was for…moving on.
40. There was a skit around a campfire with the couple requesting Danger Zone that had me laughing VERY hard.
41. In my opinion, The Conjuring is the only horror movie worth a damn since The Shining, and after watching The Conjuring II, I was very impressed and will put the second one on that list also.
42. Baldwin is SOOOOOOOOOOOO perfect as Trump on SNL and I will really miss the skits once Hillary wins…avoids losing the worst.
43. I don’t know if being told I looked like Steve Jobs on Friday was a good thing or bad thing.
44. Avenue Grill on 17th has this huge chalkboard in the bathroom yet never provides chalk…weird.
45. We watch “Those Who Can’t” because Lindsey knows a bunch of local comedians, and I have to say it is a pretty funny show…weird, but funny.
46. Oregon football is just on a DOWNslide from hell.
47. Rule #1:  If you have a “second team” in the same sport, then you have issues.
48. Rule #2:  If you wear both your first team and second team gear at the SAME time, there should be a “Purge” law where anyone on the street is allowed to attack that person.
49. Rule #3:  Couples can wear same same team gear as long as they are not jerseys.
50. That’s all the rules I have for today…there was an incident on Friday.
51. I could go through every game for you from Saturday and talk more NFL, but we are at 30 minutes before my game time, and I need to post pics and exit stage left.
