Catch Of The Day

Second place now…

HOOK:

“73-60”

Yes, it was an epic night.  The Warriors won #73 and Kobe notched 60 in his final NBA game.  Both pretty impressive obviously.  I have already spoken my mind about the Warriors, so nice job, guys.  With Kobe, I admire greatly the 60 points, and it is fitting he goes out gunning it up a LOT.  He shot under 50% so he really wasn’t on fire or anything, but I guess 22-50 is respectable.  His 6-21 three’s does not impress me, but I am being nit-picky.  Glad you got your 60, and now Lakers fans can FINALLY start building towards the future with some salary room.

The Staples Center broke merchandise records for selling Kobe gear.  Damn, I can’t even have a Led Zeppelin 2007 concert outdo the Mamba.  They are now 2nd all time in merchandise sales at an event.

LINE:

“Rams.”

Where do I or does anyone else start?

-It wasn’t for a particular player, it was for a position that would still be there at #2 or #3 if they wanted to move there

-The effect on the draft is monstrous, as the #1 now might go as low as #6, and the third ranked QB might drop about 15 spots.

-The Rams gave up a BOATLOAD.

-The Titans already have a tackle, a QB, and now a boatload of other stuff now.

-I could go on but I have things to do tonight.

Good luck in selecting your QB, St. Louis.  Wow.

SINKER:

“Harvin.”

Percy Harvin retired and that is sad from a guy with his skill set.  Electrifying player in college and early pros.  I am betting none of the teams he has been on, the fans, or the league will think twice about it in a month or two.  Dude was a troubled child.  Go live with Johnny and Josh, bro.

THE RIVER:

  1.  In this Dude Perfect Show I see advertised, do they have jobs?  I could have thought of that, but it is just that steady income puzzle to deal with.
  2. Bryce Harper hit his 100th HR in style, making it a Grand Slam.  God forbid if he becomes likable by the public.  Don’t worry, Bryce, you are my guy.
  3. I can have a few seconds of happiness of a Phillies pitcher striking out 16 batters, even if it is the Padres.
  4. My only complaint about my new ride is that it is SO clean and nice, I am afraid to get it dirty, which is not really my style.  I will try to adjust.
  5. Another beautiful day in Denver where we are twelve hours from possibly getting a foot of April snow.  Love it.  I am going to Mexico next week-I don’t care.

That’s it for today.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
