Who are the Packers?  No one knows.  Sure, they are 3-1 and look good in the standings.  But they aren’t fully functioning for some reason.  Rodgers threw two TD’s last night, but also threw 2 INT’s.  Drops.  Penalties.  Inconsistencies.  Maybe they will hit their stride before the postseason.  They certainly have the weapons.  But, something is definitely off still right now, as that game last night should’ve

LINE:

“Four.”

There are four Big Ten teams in the top ten.  Amazing.  We expected Michigan and Ohio State.  Wisconsin we thought was in a down year with off recruiting, QB changes, coaching changes, etc.  Nebraska is a breath of fresh air to a team that has been down for a while.  A lot of people in CO still dislike Nebraska, as they should being an older rival.  I don’t love them either.  But, I hope they continue their path.  We need villains to go along with the likable teams.  Football is better when Notre Dame, Nebraska, Miami, and others are good.  Welcome back, Nebraska.  And nice little run, Big Ten.

SINKER:

Listen, man.  I get it.  You are communicating with the media.  But, please slow it down or stop it.  You say you are playing the PGA tourney this weekend and then a day later back out.  We want you back in the mix.  Players want you back in the mix.  Vegas wants you back as it still had you at 40-1.  But, stop giving us pump fakes.  Come back quietly when ready.  Golf is doing fine without you for now.  I don’t want to hear about you until you ARE coming back.

THE RIVER:

-So many light fines go around these days in professional sports.  They didn’t mess around in the UFC by giving McGregor a $150k fine.  Wow.

-I think the Broncos will be fine without Kubiak Thursday.  I mean, they are playing the Chargers, a team who find new, genius ways to lose a game every single week.

-Tennessee didn’t drop in the polls after an away loss against A&M.  Shouldn’t have.  Deserved or not, the voters figure they can make a decision after next week.  They get Bama in Knoxville.  Things should be more than clarified next week.

-Going bet free tonight, but I am rooting for Bumgarner to do his postseason thing again, and I kind of think that the Bucs will make it a close game against the Panthers.

-I don’t go into politics in this thing, but I did watch most of the debate last night.  Ridiculous.  Depressing.  I want to move.

-I am aware of the subscriber problem.  A) I am afraid to try and fix it myself but will get a resource B) there are articles online about how it has happened to multiple people’s sites and C) you can always go online old school method, right?

I am tired.  When I don’t have an obvious theme, it is Airwolf.  Long story.  Old school readers know it.
