Catch Of The Day

May the Fourth be with you…

HOOK:

“Meeks.”

Slow enough day that Kennedy somehow gets under the hook line.  Maybe because my boy Vince is a Heels guy.  I don’t know.  I just know this.  Meeks will never be a superstar, but he wanted to test the draft waters.  Smart kid in coming back.  He fortifies a front line for North Carolina and makes sure they won’t go far in the rankings.

LINE:

“Relax.”

Up 11 going into the fourth quarter with their star sidelined.  Take a deep breath.  In control.  NOT.  Scary thing about the Warriors is that when they do their comebacks, they usually blitz the other team and make the final score look like a blowout.  They did it again.  Won by 11.  Take your time coming back, Steph.

-Please let me wake up for the next ten years without Dion Waiters being the OKC player talking shit to the Spurs…sleeping dog, Dion, and YOU are not the guy who should be on the mic.

-I am not surprised on the fact that Chris Bosh is out for the season and we all want him better.  But HOW the story has progressed has been…just weird.

SINKER:

“Parsons.”

Sure, I don’t know much about the 11-2 fighter who was to fight this month.  But, sad story regardless of a mid 20’s up and comer in MMA (Jordan Parsons) getting hit by a SUV at an intersection with the driver fleeing.  Shame.  Thoughts and prayers…

THE RIVER:

-Russell Wilson wants the OKC Thunder back as Sonics in Seattle.  Russell, we ALL want that.  I don’t live in either city, but it would make ME truly happy to see that happen.  Better do it before Durant gets out of town…Seattle has a lot more easy selling than OKC.

-I would have to have a sense of humor also if I was Robert Griffin in Cleveland.  More mannequin jokes, bro.

-Recent blog traffic has been solid.  Thanks to readers and whoever they are telling.

-Happy Star Wars Day.  Slow day in sports news, but there is no way I am skipping a chance at putting a picture of Yoda up on the board.  Good days for Star Wars too.  Instead of worrying about similar quality flicks such as the first episodes with new youngsters, we are in a year of a really, really solid Star Wars film out and about.

That’s it for today.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
