The Broncos named their starting/ first to play QB for the preseason practice this week. Mark Sanchez. Not a surprise. But pretty sure from what I have read and heard he didn’t exactly “win” the job. Siemian gave him a run and you have to wonder if his interview lack of fire hurts him even though he throws a great ball. And Sanchez makes mental mistakes like yesterday, and not sure his fire can override his natural lacking talent of being a starter in this league. This will be Trent Dilfer II if they do anything with him starting.

Tim Tebow announced he will try and make the Major Leagues 11 years after stepping into a batter’s box. I hear he was pretty good in high school. Great, Tim. You are putting down every single MLB dreamer who has worked his tail off to make the Big Leagues. We already know he is an idiot, and now we have a media circus surrounding an attempt at a BEGINNING and not a comeback that will make all of our heads hurt. Too much talent in even the lower leagues for a guy like this to make a dent. Go be a talking head and END it.
THE RIVER:
-The women’s gymnastics team won and all I know is I have NO idea how we became THAT much better than everyone else.
-Letdown Missy got LAST in her heat and won’t be there, but we still get to watch Katie LeDecky do her thing in her “weakest” event. She might win, but if you want to see the competition at least NEAR the yellow WR line with her, watch tonight.
-Shame young kids who are trying to enjoy the moment have to be the ones making anti-doping statements…
-It is going to be SO weird watching golf in the Olympics, so let’s just enjoy it for what it is….a comeback of an ancient sport we all love to either watch and/ or play.
-I think Yasiel Puig is purposely trying to do exactly what Johnny Football did in his not so long career path. Stop posting AAA partying videos, bro. You were cool when you were raking. You are NOT cool now that you suck…and are still an ass.
-If Snoop’s kid tries football again next year, he can walk away and prove things happen in three’s.
