HR Derby was fun, and at least, for good or bad, the ASG counts…enjoy.
Just my quick thoughts for the day. No hook, line, sinker, and river. Too busy this week…
- Aggies DE Myles Garrett has set his sites on 20 sacks for this season. We know he is a stud, and this goal might not be unobtainable. Even with that awesome sack total, he would trail Mr. Suggs officially (24) and Mr. Thomas unofficially (27). It has been done by special players.
- Speaking of workout beasts, A.P. might be an idiot off the field, but apparently is working his TAIL off at his own gym in Houston. Dammit. Am I going to end up with him in fantasy AGAIN? No. Breathe. Stop reading the stories, Fillerbuster.
- I am not a fan of the HR Derby unless I have nothing to do and the lady doesn’t need the TV. Well, those things happened, so I watched the whole thing. Frazier is the model of consistency, sure, but the bombs that Giancarlo Stanton was hitting were ridiculous. Dude flew out just for the event and made good use of it. He has been on fire over the last three weeks and look for that to translate until a second half run…individual and team possibly.
- Loved the Ken Griffey backwards hat look by Cargo though.
- Pop, very nice of you to say that you would be coaching in the Budweiser League if not for Duncan, but that is pushing it. True, you had the greatest two way PF in the history of the game on your team, but pretty sure you still would have gotten 1 maybe 2 titles without him.
- I don’t have more than 24 hours in a day…just like everyone else. If I did, I would spend about two hours watching NBA Summer League a couple times a week.
- I don’t care about new info. I don’t care about new data. Can we PLEASE just let the Paterno-Sandusky thing REST??????? Time heals some wounds, we all know the entire situation was shady on all fronts, so can we start letting time do its freaking job?
- Speaking of stories that won’t die, make up your MIND, Pacquiao. In, or out? Don’t be Brett Favre or half of the boxers from the 80’s.
- SI sucks because of all the pop-ups. ESPN sucks because you have to be an Insider for most info. I am actually an Insider, but my login always has problems. Wait until I start a site. I mean wait until if I ever have time to upkeep a site. And thanks for releasing to us non-Insiders today (later than Insider), ESPN, winners and losers in free agency.
- Plan on watching the end of the ASG tonight. It counts for the WS, but I don’t have bandwidth to watch entire thing. Enjoy.
