- Welcome back to being in the picture, Packers and Mr. Rodgers. I knew you had it in you. I wish you would have told me to bet a little more before the game, but I knew you had it in you.
- Update. Done Westworld Episode 2. Taking a night off as I have to catch up on The Voice, but hooked and will keep moving forward. Plus, it beats every single male at work talking about it around me and not knowing what is going on.
- My people: Sundance, Austin, Christian, We. Christian’s performance might have been a game changer. Dude can win it.
- I was watching some of the ASU-Kentucky basketball game last night. Kentucky was up 40 at the beginning of the second half. How depressing is THAT? Not the score, people. I am talking about the starters OR second team ASU players having to play 20 MORE minutes against the pissed off All-Americans on UK’s bench who are pissed they are NOT starting.
- ESPN had an article online yesterday telling people who want an 8 team playoff to be quiet. Everything is fine. How come people like me don’t get an article? Not writing the article, people. I am firmly in the SIX team playoff support group. Top two teams get byes.
- 10 teams left in one of my favorite weekly articles, The Eliminator. Always a great read.
- One more day with the mustache. The people who are telling me I should keep it are the really disturbing people from this month.
- Anytime you are on a list with Magic Johnson and the Big O, life is good in some way. Westbrook is on that list averaging STILL a triple double this SEASON. Pretty easily thus far, too. Amazing.
- Not sure if being a 40-40 guy in Korea means you are the answer, but I am sure the Brewers think they know what they are doing.
- Hey, recent again LA Rams. Congrats on your new crib and home base. That is great. But, don’t piss off Eric Dickerson either. Just my two cents.
- I think it is a slow day in sports when Peyton telling Eli and the Giants how to beat the Steelers is the lead story on ESPN for a a couple hours.
- ACC/ Big Ten Challenge is this week. Interested to see if MSU still is at the low point of Izzo’s ultra fast scheduling learning curve against Duke, and if UVA decimates a decent OSU team like they have everyone else.
- Death Star. 12 straight. Ugghhh.
- I didn’t personally see any surprises in the new CFP except what wasn’t a surprise. Ohio State is #2, and can relax and watch the fireworks without fearing what their fate is.
- Justin Tucker’s idea about getting a point on the kickoff if you split the uprights is novel and adorable, but not happening anytime in the next 20 years.
- Darren Sharper got sentenced to 20 years for raping all of those women. Parole possibly in 8 years unfortunately. Here is to hopefully Louisiana (disagreed with combined sentence) bringing down the hammer and making that at least 5-10 more.
- Not a crazy, special career at Notre Dame, but Malik Zaire’s phone is getting serious action regardless after announcing a transfer.
- Ok, I broke down and bought some Dockers and casual shoes on “Cyber Monday.”
- Whether it is a weekend night, or just if you didn’t go grocery shopping and need dinner, Las Margs is just a fun place with great food and the owner, Zack, will be the one greeting you at the door somehow about 90% of the time.
