- Everyone ready for an entire month of weighing where Bama falls into the best team ever conversation and what they need to win the final two games by to be #1?
- No intern until January 6th…sorry for any grammatical errors.
- With Fournette entering the draft, it will give GM’s an interesting decision. Do you support the side that says running backs can be found in the 3rd round and his injuries should scare people? Or do you support the side that he is a freak of nature like A.P. was…man among boys?
- Amazing how many of the NFL division races have been clarified more than in past years. The AFC North ending will end up being epic and provide a very fun 2pm game on Christmas Day. I think the Steelers’ schedule sets up better, but it will be fun to see them possibly settle this on the field.
- Wow, what a Thursday night NFL game this week. Considering three of the best teams in the NFL all camp out in the same division, we might as well get TWO of them head to head in prime time.
- Wow, that was one unproductive weekend I just had. As I mentioned, I even failed on taking the freaking cat to the vet and getting the right shots.
- That sucks for Percy Harvin that he works to get all the way back after his temporary retirement, has three touches on the ball, and then loses his season to migraines.
- Seriously, over-unders are SOOOO much easier to watch.
- Easier to win at fantasy when your opponent only scores 78 points, but nice to see my fantasy team win in STYLE. I either need Bennett to figure it out for the Pats or find another TE, but everything else looks pretty solid.
- Not only is MMQB one of my favorite weekly reads, but know for next week that King is spending week in Green Bay this week…should be a good one.
- Still trying to believe the Berry 2 point runback happened.
- First NFL player to get a pick 6 and pick 2 in same game.
- Still wrapping my head around that amazing Flying Bach performance I watched yesterday.
- Sucks that Matt Barnes is possibly getting in trouble for beating up a chick at a nightclub, but it DOES make me happy that DeMarcus Cousins was present and accounted for at the party.
- It makes me happy also that Rajon Rondo is being suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.
- I get sad that Rondo and Cousins aren’t still on the same team anymore…they could have done SO much more bad stuff together as a team.
- In what will be a rotation at the top, Villanova’s got NEXT!
- In thinking about your possible future champions, know that KU dropped the opening game against IU, everyone forgot about them, and they haven’t lost since.
- St. Mary’s AND Gonzaga both haven’t lost this year yet. Wow.
- Pitino said that playing Grand Canyon U this weekend was one of the most hostile basketball environments he has coached in. Wow again. Duke, North Carolina, KU…Grand Canyon.
- Win a World Series and now you don’t need your closer, Cubs? You do whatever genius thing you are doing up there.
- Bad day for the Nats, as Bryce Harper wants $400 million even after he laid an egg in the second half of the season, and the Giants picked up their closer.
- It is really kind of silly I love water, but it is what it is, and kind of excited that my toes will be in the Atlantic Ocean in two days.
