Catch Of The Day

David definitely beat Goliath again.

HOOK:

“Dirk.”

Dirk wants to become the second player to be with one team for a 20 year career, and he sure carries himself like it.  Today, he announced he will opt out, restructure his contract to help bring on players, and remain with the Mavs.  Classy, and the guy just wants one more shot at being a first round out in the playoffs.  Funny that the other guy who played 20 years with one team didn’t take that path and was fine with losing on his way out.

Tonight, Cleveland rolls at home.  San Antonio wins a close one at home over OKC.

Also, can we save the Durant next team talk until AFTER he is out of the playoffs?

LINE:

“NHL.”

As long as they don’t beat each other too much, I like the winner of the Caps-Pens series to win it all in the Stanley Cup playoffs.  Tonight, they go at it again.  Interested to see which goalie gets hot to get them over the edge in the series.

SINKER:

“Auburn.”

All of a sudden, those tossed out football offer letters to CU, Washington, and Oregon seem a little cooler, aye guys?

THE RIVER:

“Leicester.”

Could be the biggest upset of all time in sports.  And it wasn’t one game-it was a season.  First FIRST time winner of the Premier League since the 70’s.  Got a tie in the other match today to clinch it.  Their best finish was in freaking 1929 (runner-up).  Congrats to that squad for pissing off all of the big boys.

-Mark Sanchez is right about being showed confidence when the Broncos selected a young QB in the draft.  Yup, Mark.  Fans LOVE you are pumped up.  And just enjoy the ONE year you are starting before you have your Brian Hoyer moment of Zen and realizing you are a backup/ journeyman.

That’s it for today.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.  Peace.
