Quick hitter today.  Just clearing the list as this is cutting into my night.

1. I kind of expect stories like “JJ Watt breaks hand and will play this week.”
2. I kind of expect stories like “Gregg Popovich saying 3 pointers aren’t basketball and are like a circus (but he just uses them to the millionth degree when winning championships).”
3. Get the Pats while you can, NFL teams.  Gronk is now practicing.
4. Just to make sure that they get ALL of the good players out there, the Cubs are apparently interested in Mr. Heyward now too.
5. So, the Orioles gave Chris Davis literally a DAY to decide on that 7 year contract and then pulled the offer?  Love it.
6. Carmelo Anthony is frustrated by his lack of fouls.  He added to this comment by saying “I always get fouled.”  Now, as of now, I am of the opinion that Melo must be smarter than all of us and that he is just messing with us with that genius.  Why am I on board?  Because it is impossible someone can be THIS dumb.  Give that man an IQ test.  Melo is today’s Beautiful Mind or Good Will Hunting.  HAS to be.
7. They fined Brown for running his nuts into the goalpost?

11. I didn’t have huge NYE plans, but still confused how the football gods allowed two of the most important games of the year to be played on a fun night.
12. Very embarrassed to admit it, but I am READY for the big showdown next week.  Jordan probably won’t lose, but if he does, it better be Jeffery who does it.
13. Normal people of course don’t cheer injuries, but people in Boston are probably hoping that bum Klay Thompson ankle lingers for at least until after their game tomorrow.
14. Happy trails, Dolph Schayes.  You were a legend.  One of the 50 best, a signature model of today’s big man, first man to 15,000 points, and a title in 1955.  You will be missed, sir.
15. Crazy that we are not only waiting for a decision on teams moving to a new city, but also WHICH MULTIPLE teams will go.  Crazy stuff if you ask me.
16. Joey Bosa says OSU was too worried about staying undefeated and that the pressure got to them.  Ummm.  Did you expect something different?
17. In case you care, Patrick Kane’s scoring streak is STILL going.  23 games and counting.  Pretty freaking impressive.
18. Tonight’s game.  Vikings-Cardinals.  I think this will be a fun game.  I am going with 30-20, with the Cardinals getting a late score to solidify the win.
