Catch of the Day.

HOOK:

“One?”

The Rockets are a very talented team, no matter how you spin it.  Last night, they won a game more highlighted by the Curry fall.  You had to know that however the Warriors were going to dismantle the Rockets that Harden is just too good to get swept.  If Curry had played the whole game, you never know, but the Rockets have injuries too.  Bottom line is that make sure you congratulate your Rockets fan friends, and make sure they are aware that the end of the party is most likely the next game in Golden State.  Congratulate ALL NBA fans as we need a healthy Curry and James to have an epic NBA Finals.

LINE:

“Concern?”

No.  Well, a little.  The Blackhawks lost last night, but that is ok.  We are still on serve for home ice and the next one is in Chicago.  Then, it sets up nicely for a winner take all Game 7.  Here is the deal.  They really didn’t deserve to win last night, as they merely shined for a few moments to surprise the Ducks.  Do I think the Ducks are probably the better team?  Yes, at this point.  Do I still think the Blackhawks win at home and give Anahiem fans fits in Game 7?  Yes.  I am still on record saying the Blackhawks will win the Cup.  I am not rescinding that claim.  I never said it would be easy.

SINKER:

“Upset?”

Venus Williams lost to Sloane Stephens and that apparently seemed like big news.  Not really.  The French Open is playing out thus far with no real surprises.  Nadal suddenly looks good again as he does yearly.  Venus is at the end of her time, and Sloane is at the beginning.  Bouchard looks like someone content on just hanging around the top ten.  This is going to get fun, and it sucks Nadal’s ranking will make a heavyweight showdown MUCH earlier than we want.

THE GAME:

We are not at 24 hours yet in the deadline, so answers to the NBA game will come tomorrow.  No one has gotten it yet.  In the meantime, here is one for today.  Side note.  This might get tougher than I thought, and don’t be surprised if I do one a week instead of daily.  Hard to think about things you can’t Google.

$5 question:

Take my favorite tennis player’s best year (all four digits).  Subtract my favorite 76er’s jersey number (besides Iverson as that would be too easy), and then subtract further my favorite hockey player’s jersey number.  What is the number you get?  This will be posted for a couple days.

(Yes, I will get away from these “favorite” questions, but I need to figure out a better way.

That’s it.  Hope you enjoyed or are at least more informed.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro (.333, 16, 41, .471).  Peace.
