I am excited, sure, to watch the UNC-Duke game in 40 minutes (about the time I plan on being done), but it won’t be the same.  Vitale IS Duke vs. UNC and no one can replace what he brings to the table for that game.  They can’t even play HIGHLIGHTS of the game in commercials without us hearing Vitale yelling awesome stuff.

-I hear the Pistons are looking at Joe Johnson.  If there WAS a place and system where he could back anything close to his numbers when he was overpaid by the Nets, it is THERE.  Because he sure as hell isn’t presently.

-I agree with the ex-mayor.  I am NOT buying Danny Ferry is racist in the least.

-I think if there is ANY reason to show examples of MJ’s greatness, do it.  You are in your fifth year of being on the neighborhood watch???  Show us everything all again.  I am IN.

-My goose bumps have started setting in.  One month before the tourney, folks.

Yes, Kevin Durant, it was, and we forgive you.  You are too classy NOT to forgive.  Having to give everyone a positive experience you bump into since you were 17 must be exhausting.

-The 49ers GM says that the 49ers have “moved on” from Harbaugh.  We will see.  Dude was an awesome coach.

-There was an article on ESPN.com about the Sixers “plan.”  I read it.  Not buying it.  In a related story, there was an article in ESPN a year or two ago about the Astros “plan.”

-RGIII will enter the season as a starter, and none of us outside the Baylor or DC area care right now.

-I am not a fan of women’s basketball, but EVERYONE is a fan of a 39/29 stat line.  Nice work, Amanda Zahui.  Not even sure if that is her name, trusting my list, and not googling it.

-Where Goran Dragic goes MIGHT change the playoff landscape SERIOUSLY.

-It seems like just yesterday that Larry Fitzgerald thought he was on a team going nowhere.  Now, he re-signs.

-I find it funny how resign and re-sign mean SO different things.

-Please tell Kobe to learn piano and THEN talk about Mozart having “too many notes.”

-Beethoven, Liszt, and Chopin were better or at more fun to play in my opinion.  I am NOT saying you are a pansy, though, Amadeus.

-AND, I did my first 20 minute scale exercise last night.  SO nice having a piano in house now.  THANK you Lindsey.  Best gift ever aside from my parents’ gold chain in 1991 (which has still never left my neck).

I know you can’t show your hand, and I know details of deals need to be worked out, but HOW does the NBA trade deadline ALWAYS come down to the last day.  If I am a team, I am over betting on my first two cards to scare some people away from a pot.

-When is Liam Neeson going to take a serious, non action role again, and if the guy is bringing “everything he has” against him in this new movie about Liam killing his son, isn’t that just Taken with an added flow chart?

-Love how the Yanks will retire Andy Pettitte’s number, and I laugh how we hate Bonds and A-Rod so much, and yet another alleged cheater is having his number retired.  Note to self, you other two.  Just be NICE.

-I am kind of sad not to get more videos or stories on the ex of Kurt Busch.

-Lance Armstrong lost a case in arbitration, and I need a new section called “YEAH.”

-You weren’t a nice cheater either-you tried to sue everyone even though YOU were wrong.

-UFC will drug test year round and I am confused how the baddest people on earth looking for every advantage aren’t tested all the time BEFORE this double whammy on Silva.

-I don’t have the time, nor feel the want to create that time, but I wish I had 90 minutes or so with nothing to do but staring at the wall where I could turn on a cricket match to get more jokes on it.

-At the beginning of the season, I stated that Chris Jones of UL was NOT the PG I would choose to lead me to the promised land.  I was pretty much on target since he is suspended for some ominous reason.  Would love UL to make a run…as long as it isn’t against UVA in the last game.

-I don’t know who will score for the Knicks without Stoudemire and Melo, but I guess we will find out for about 4-6 months.

-Jason Giambi retires and no one is sure how we will remember him.  Scary that the dude is 44.  I didn’t realize I liked him as a player at one point but was only two years YOUNGER than him.

-Glad that Davis Love is along for another Ryder Cup ride of us possibly getting smoked by Europe again.

-Why is Mr. Baldwin apologizing for his TD dance like three weeks AFTER the Super Bowl?  Did he have a bad dream this week?

-Pats guy McNally tried to give a deflated ball to a ref.  I think the “sinker” segment will now end on that with no comment.

The plurality is my attempt to eliminate the huge, monstrous Sunday blog (even though a few of you tell me you like them more).  Therefore, knocking out more of my list when I can is the way to go.  I am having two of the busiest work weeks I have had in a long time, so instead of working 65 hours a week, I believe it will be more like 80 the next two.  That is it for today.  I hope you were entertained.  Peace.
