Quick hitters before the holiday…

1. NFL games tomorrow.  The Eagles are better than the Lions and the Panthers are better than the Cowboys.  But, it is Thanksgiving, so let that karma roll and allow the Lions and Boys to pull upsets.  I would love to tell you who to pick in the Packers-Bears game, but I can’t figure out either team.  Packers take it.
2. Cam vs. Brady.  Good debate, and maybe it is time for someone else to win the award.  I would love to advocate that.  But, when you check out the assembly line of injuries for the Pats and they are STILL undefeated?  That is ridiculous.  Brady still deserves it.  Sorry, Cam.
3. Before Iowa and OU fans get TOO excited about being in the CFP top four, remember that impressive wins over the #9 and #10 teams in the nation could sway the vote to OSU and Notre Dame.  Probably not, but just am saying don’t get TOO excited yet.
4. I am already tired of hearing about the Les Miles thing.
5. If you HAVEN’T seen the Case Keenum hit where he stayed on the field in this day of concussions, watch it.  Kind of ridiculous.
6. Both networks of doctors for Manning and Kaepernick I assume are under strict orders to blow out of proportion their injuries until further notice.
7. The Avs are the only hockey team in the Western Central with a below .500 record.
8. Gotta feel a little more negligent about Connor Cook rumors when you already beat the Buckeyes without him.
9. They are not injured and not playing bad individually.  Someone got any ideas how the Clippers are at .500?
10. I want more, Johnny Football.  Get pissed and go do something else stupid.
11. When watching Ben Simmons play at LSU this year, be enamored by his scoring, but be blown away on how he looks to pass first almost every single time.
12. Went to Olde Towne Tavern in Littleton last night before Melting Pot.  Man, I miss that place, it was a huge part of my life for years, and nice to see it hasn’t really changed one bit since I left the area.
13. I have left it up to Lindsey when I will leave her for a couple hours this weekend to go see Creed.  It is like mandatory for anyone as big of Rocky fan as I am.
14. Thoughts and prayers, Stedman Bailey.  Remember that if you make it through this, you will be one of a select FEW who lived after they got shot in the head TWICE in a drive by.
15. At home, I am presently reading a PAINFUL article about a high school kid who delivered a clean hit in football and killed a kid.  Not sure if I recommend it yet or not.  Tough stuff.
16. Maybe it is the right legal strategy, but thinking Jose Reyes should just come clean that he knocked his woman into a sliding glass door at a resort in Hawaii.
