Bottle of red…a bottle of white (barely beats Seinfeld “architect” for theme of the day.

Read it, don’t read it, I don’t care…just needed to get some things off my chest.

In no particular order of chronology or importance…

On the clock.  Not an airplane rant.  Super speed version again.  Evening rant.  Let’s turn and burn.

  1. Greetings and salutations, people.  Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  I am tired, and the work show starts tomorrow, so this will be a quick hitter to hold me over.  One sentence per hook.  Let’s move.
  2. Before we all jump off the “TOLD you he would go to a bigger school,” let’s know that discussions are totally normal with a program such as Texas and smart people always know what is out there and if a change will be better.
  3. I think he should hold out until a basketball school wants him again though.
  4. Tiger is out of the top 100 for the first time since 1996, played a round at Augusta today, and we all know the tournament is a little more interesting when he is involved, no matter HOW much I poke fun at the overall situation.
  5. I don’t know if it is funnier that Jameis Winston proclaimed himself the best player in the draft or that NFL scouts tailed him on a plane ride, but props to him for throwing over a 100 balls and showing he is not scared to still not try and impress teams.
  6. So…my initial bracket that did NOT end up my official bracket is looking pretty darn good right about now…freaking Arizona.
  7. I think Wisconsin has been good for many years and that they are skilled, able to pull this off, and due.
  8. I think if Michigan State gets in the final, it will not be the final any of us outside of Michigan were hoping for.
  9. I don’t have time to edit this tonight, so forgive any grammatical errors.
  10. Another day on a bored rant where I will break down NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, etc.
  11. Bama players are really making Nick Saban look a little dumb over the last week.
  12. The average salary in the overpaying MLB is now $4.34 million, and if my memory serves me correct, Ken Griffey didn’t play THAT long ago and was the first $4 million man.
  13. I am not looking it up…very tired.
  14. We all would like to thank Dwayne Bowe for telling us that he will finally score TD’s again this year.
  15. We all would like to thank LeBron James for telling us his three friends in the NBA and that none of them currently play for his present team.
  16. Not a lot of video game playing at big homes I would guess.
  17. I really can’t get into a soccer friendly no matter how much I love the World Cup.
  18. I know who Bryant is, but I still don’t see how the Cubs demoting him is THAT big of deal.
  19. My work “pod” is weirding our co-workers out by our sudden fake names we don’t feel like explaining.
  20. I am Jim, Rob is Ralph, and Marty is Marny.
  21. Ralph is still working on time travel with a machine I may or may not know what it does.
  22. Wow, that would be perfect if Mullin becomes the new St. John coach.
  23. Wow, so Rick Barnes is taking another football school basketball job, and therefore cementing another failed part of his coaching career.
  24. Ok, maybe “failed” is a bit strong and we should say “not successful.”
  25. I really want to show you the Filler sweatshirt my brother sent me a picture of, but it sounds like a lot of work.
  26. Walking by a piano bar with Lindsey and hearing a guy named Rick Ross play Scenes from an Italian Restaurant has to be one of the highlights of my last few days.
  27. Things are fun in my life, but things with Lindsey are just MORE fun.
  28. I think if I had to do it again, I would have the play weekend in San Diego AFTER my work week in San Diego to kind of make it more of a reward at the end.
  29. I am not sure how I made forts with waffles as a kid and still can’t eat one in the last decade.
  30. Wow, Notre Dame proved that having shooters on your squad can give you a CHANCE against the taller Kentucky, and look out for Wisconsin.
  31. Tony Romo says he would have taken a pay cut to keep DeMarco Murray, and we would like to thank him for that info at a time where it is kind of useless.
  32. Oh, so Hernandez is innocent per a conversation with Mr. Kraft…well, THAT makes this story cut and dry.
  33. I am supposed to mention Mitch Harris because a couple who said was going to read my blog might read it, but sorry for the lack of energy and not expanding on this mention.
  34. How come the last 4 times I have been to Dick’s Last Resort they are nice to us?
  35. I have pics to show, but just don’t feel like putting it together tonight, people.
  36. I went whale watching Saturday, and although there might have been 3-4 whales which came out of the water…it might have been the same whale following us.
  37. It is so hard for me to get on a plane to leave San Diego, and I am not looking forward to Thursday evening.
  38. I am pretty sure UCONN women’s basketball is still winning, not totally sure, but will go with my gut on this as I haven’t seen a major headline about it.
  39. Wow, I even write on my blog list about a pen I found underneath the last hotel’s bed.
  40. I look out the window on a plane about to land like an 8 year old.
  41. Actually, a lot of things I do to this day…are like an 8 year old.
  42. I don’t think any of us are surprised that the Knicks are breaking bad records.
  43. For Louisville, Harrell and Rozier are going pro, and I think the latter has been whispered some heightened draft data.
  44. Does anyone else in Denver know why our airport suddenly has a cruise ship by the weird tents when we have no water, and if it isn’t a cruise ship, is it too late in my life to become an architect?
  45. The rest of the items are about Sweet Sixteen games, and it seems like old news.
  46. I am still processing the matchups, but would go Wisconsin over Kentucky 71-69, and Duke over Michigan State 70-61.
  47. That is it for tonight, and I hope my lack of energy was somewhat cushioned with my pure sarcasm. I am most likely off tomorrow as I have a bunch of work stuff to do, and then will have an airplane rant for you probably late Thursday night or first thing Friday.  I hope you enjoyed or are at least more informed.
