- Greetings and salutations, people. Thanks for coming aboard (the boat). Quick one today as I will have plenty to say tomorrow.
- College basketball breakdown will be tomorrow, Vince.
- As you know, I played poker last night/ slashed gave a donation to my colleague, Rob.
- I pulled out my blog list before the poker game to be caught up before I went in airplane mode, Rojo asked if that was my blog list, someone asked whether the poker game would be in my blog, and I said “EVERYTHING is in my blog, including you.”
- More to come on that in a few.
- I love having a blog and think you should too, as I pretty much just say whatever I want about anyone (conforming to work rules of course).
- Marty and Rob don’t even read this, I told everyone at the table they had ALL been in my blog at some point in the last couple months, I told them I have a couple hundred readers, and they looked like “really?”
- And all of that is true.
- Creed is 97% of “got to see” on Rotten Tomatoes, and coming from the biggest Rocky fan you will ever know…what?????
- Someone tell the Jets they have to defend home field if they want to be respected.
- I am going to watch the OU-Baylor game with my woman and her family today, and I am getting the feeling that I am the ONLY person who thinks OU takes this game today.
- Said it preseason AND midseason, people…keep up.
- I won’t write anything as eloquent as professional writers, so I won’t try, but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sad the events in Paris, and thoughts and prayers to the families of anyone who experienced loss.
- I know it is a trap game, but thinking Bama learned from the Ole Miss loss and WON’T lose to Miss. State today.
- What a roller coaster ride for Mr. Pinkel, and get better, bud.
- No, I am not happy at all Mr. Manziel is starting at QB against the Steelers…nah.
- I am pretty sure our home record against the Browns over the last 10 years speaks for itself.
- We knew Wisconsin would be reloading this year, but didn’t think they would lose to a directional school in an opener either.
- I am confused what time the fight is really happening in Australia if the Rousey fight is on prime time tonight in the USA but being fought in Australia.
- The Aussie Open in tennis is an event I have to wake up at odd hours for, so how come this one is the RIGHT time?
- Another day of my life, and another day of the Warriors destroying people and being undefeated.
- For the record, last night I went in All In on four times and won three of them. Two of the main hands I lost were a lower full house, and on trip queens with a pair in my hand. Considering the Queen of Hearts is in my wallet because of my love for my passed granpa, I would stay in on that hand 1000 times out of 1000.
- The Final Six: Keefe-repping a player who plays exactly like me, Vaeth-the fast starting horse who loses steam on the stretch, Ross-my mentor and the guy who always is in control and more organized than anyone even after drinks, Hoban-the guy who could be first out or last out depending on the cards (and always bets pot limit), Casey-the guy who we couldn’t figure out HOW he was still in so long, and Rob-the guy I TOLD you would win last night.
- I watched Rob/Ralph methodically break DOWN the passers by and it was beautiful.
- In the big games: OU over Baylor 41-31, Memphis over Houston 31-17, Bama over Miss. State 31-13, and Stanford over Oregon 34-30.
- Go OU, and that is totally independent of my fiancee being named after the main drag in Norman. I have CALLED this one.
- That’s it. Can’t wait to talk some NBA and college hoops tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed or are at least more informed. Will I blog tomorrow? That is a CLOWN question, bro.
